Mr. Terrific, also known as Michael Holt in the comics, will reportedly be making an appearance in the fifth season of "Arrow" as a member of Team Arrow. Though the Holt that exists in the current "Arrow" universe is named Curtis, actor Echo Kellum has confirmed that he will be wearing the mask this year.

According to reports, Curtis is currently undergoing some issues with the departure of Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) as CEO of PalmerTech. In an interview with the press during the San Diego Comic-Con, Kellum said, "Curtis is in flux, professionally, right now. He loved his boss, he loved his CEO. He is loyal, he's still an active worker, I think Curtis still works there, but we haven't talked about it. I feel like it might be a solidarity thing, like, if Felicity is gone, then I'm gone too. Maybe."

Back in Season 4, viewers saw Curtis as a tech support expert who helped Oliver Queen bring down Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). Wendy Mericle, the current showrunner for "Arrow," even likens him to Cisco Ramon, the tech genius from the "Flash" series.

There have actually been two incarnations of Mr. Terrific in the comics. The first one was a Caucasian man by the name of Terry Sloane. He was a self-made millionaire who was immensely intelligent and had Olympic-level athletic skills. He created the "Fair Play Club" as a way to fight against juvenile delinquency among the youth. This incarnation existed during the Golden Age of comics.

In the 90s, Michael Holt took up the mantle, with Sloane serving as his source of inspiration. His costume — much like Sloane's — has the word "Fair Play" written on the sleeve, and he's a member of the Justice Society of America (JSA). Holt is also credited for the creation of the T-Spheres, intelligent miniature devices that Mr. Terrific can control with his mask and earpieces.

Mr. Terrific will arrive in the fifth season of "Arrow" which will premiere in October on The CW.
