'Batman: Arkham' release date, news & update: Should Damian Wayne star in the game's next installment?

Talks about the new "Batman: Arkham" game continues as rumors claim that the game developer cancelled a highly anticipated game to bring their focus back to the franchise.
The speculations began when a source reportedly told Kotaku that Warner Bros. Montreal will no longer push through with the development of the "Suicide Squad" video game. The team will instead concentrate on the development of a new "Batman" game that will feature Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul.
According to the report, the head developers from Warner Bros. opted to discontinue the rumored "Suicide Squad" game at the start of December due to the conflict at WB Montreal. Previous speculations claimed that it was supposed to be a co-op game that will feature the group of anti-heroes who were assembled to fight a bigger villain. But the bosses from Warner Bros. were reportedly unimpressed with the outcome of the game which is said to be in development for at least two years.
But a report from Cinema Blend stated that featuring Damian Wayne as the main character of the next "Batman: Arkham" game may not be a smart move from the game developer since he is one of the least popular characters in the "Batman" franchise.
The report also mentioned that if Damian will be the focus of the next game, the game developers will miss an opportunity to highlight some of the most notable features of the past "Batman: Arkham" games like The Order of St. Dumas from "Batman: Arkham Knight."
Also, the report stated that the game developer could also shift their focus on Tim Drake or Dick Grayson, two of the most widely used characters in the entire "Batman: Arkham" games from Rocksteady.
At the moment, the game developer has yet to confirm if there is truth to the reports about an upcoming "Batman: Arkham" game.
