'Better Call Saul' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Saul's life post-'Breaking Bad' to be explored?

"Better Call Saul" season 3 will continue the story of how Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) became Saul Goodman, but it might also take fans to his life during and after "Breaking Bad."
Rhea Seehorn, who plays the role of Kim Wexler in the spinoff, revealed in an interview with Deadline that the show might go beyond "Breaking Bad."
"There's a lot of leeway with where they could go. I can only presume that it's also on the table for them to do scenes that happen during Breaking Bad years in some fashion," the actress said.
In the past, series co-creator Peter Gould has hinted the possibility of "Better Call Saul" going beyond its parent series to give fans a better look at Saul's life after the hit series.
When "Breaking Bad" ended, Saul ended up in Nebraska, where he worked at a shopping mall under the name Gene. There might be more to this in "Better Call Saul."
"To me that hints that maybe there's more to the story after Breaking Bad, so we'll see," Gould teased via Den of Geek during the Vulture Festival earlier this year. "I don't think anything is predetermined," he added.
With that said, fans might not just learn the story that gave birth to the Saul Goodman as they know him in "Breaking Bad." They might be treated with a look at his miserable life in Omaha.
With regards to what Seehorn's character will be up to in "Better Call Saul" season 3, she hinted in the same Deadline interview that her character might go the same way Jimmy is currently taking.
"Good and bad is not the same as legal and illegal all the time. Unfortunately, they don't always line up that way," the star explained.
"All the characters are just sort of struggling with dealing with the fact that life just isn't black and white," Seehorn explained further.
"Better Call Saul" season 3 premieres sometime next year on AMC.
