As detailed in the synopsis, the series will be focusing on the story of a man's obsessive recollection of a mysterious children's television program from the 1980s. It's not known yet what it is really going to be like but the man is suspecting that the program has a lot to do with his series of horrendous and deadly events from his childhood. The trailer also teased the creepy Tooth Child.

The first season of the series will star Paul Schneider, Shaun Benson, Natalie Brown, Luisa D'Oliveira and Fiona Shaw. It will be directed by Craig William Macneill ("The Boy") and written by Nick Antosca ("Hannibal") who is also the executive producer together with Max Landis ("Chronicle"). Other writers are Harley Peyton and Don Mancini.

Antosca and Landis are excited for the series premiere already as they are honored to be the ones running the show.

"As lifelong fans of experimental horror and science fiction from 'The Twilight Zone' to 'Tales from the Crypt,'we are overjoyed to have the opportunity to offer exposure to a new generation of creators," said the duo in a statement, according to Entertainment Weekly. They also shared that the series has allowed them to explore more in the genre and even get weird.

"Channel Zero: Candle Cove" will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 9 p.m. on Syfy.
