'Dark Souls 3' release date, gameplay updates news: Game will be released in April at 60 fps on PC?
A few days after it was rumored that the new installment of the "Dark Souls" series will run at 30 fps, a new report from Digital Trends suggests that "Dark Souls 3" will actually be running at 60 fps on PC.

The first report came after an e-mail response to a fan. The e-mail claimed that the Japanese RPG game might be played at 30 frames per second.
"Thank you for contacting Bandai Namco Entertainment Online Store Support. Unfortunately, the plan is to keep the frame rate locked at 30 fps but nothing is yet confirmed from what I am aware of. Please keep updated through the main website."
The company quickly responded to the issue by posting on the game's official Twitter stating that the rumor is baseless.
Dark Souls Official Twitter Account @DarkSoulsGame posted:
"Forget what you've heard. #DarkSouls3 will run at 60 FPS on PC!"
The new report definitely came as good news for many "Dark Souls" fans since the game is much more enjoyable with better graphics at 60 frames per second. Now that the company has put an end to the rumors, everyone can now concentrate on the other aspects of the game.
Meanwhile, Gamespot posted a teaser video suggesting that the game will be different than its predecessor since bosses and classes will be included. These are Knight, Mercenary, Warrior, Herald, Theif, Assassin, Sorcerer, Pyromancer, Cleric and Deprived. It was also stated in the video that players will experience an AI, which will come as a challenge.
If the rumors prove to be true, the new "Dark Souls 3" will be a whole new different experience for fans.
The game is expected to come out on Apr. 12 across all consoles. Die-hard fanatics and new fans alike can finally see if the current rumors are true or not.
