'Dead Rising 4' news & update: Development team teases fans on what to expect

The development team behind the zombie-shooter/slasher game, "Dead Rising 4," has released a video showcasing just exactly what gamers can expect from the game when it comes out this December.
Frank West returns to Willamette to bash some zombie skulls in the new game, and people will notice that there's a whole Christmas theme sprinkled all over the area. The developers say that they put this in to give Frank the ability to pick up literally anything, and turn it into a zombie-slaying weapon.
The game will allow players to mix and match their weapons as well in order to get more unique kills. For example, players can make Frank pick up a crossbow and fire sharp-ended candy canes at the undead horde.
The game also gives Frank access to a military grade exo-suit which gives him a crazy power up that lets him kill more zombies. Frank can tear a parking meter out of the ground and use the cement club to bash the undead around him. The developers also said that the exo-suit can be fused with other items, like a slurpee machine; this allows Frank to fire crazy slurpee tornados of different flavors towards his incoming enemies.
Speaking of enemies, the "Dead Rising 4" development team also shares three different types of Zombies that Frank will encounter in the game. There are the regular Horde zombies which are easy to kill. There are the Freshly Turned ones which were survivors that Frank witnesses turn into zombies; these types are very keen on attacking, and they run really fast. The hardest to beat (probably) are the Evo zombies, which are actually smarter than their other counterparts. They dodge bullets, run, hide and think, so Frank better watch out for these suckers.
"Dead Rising 4" looks to be a ton of zombie-bashing fun, which is slated for release on Dec. 6.
