'Doctor Strange' actor hints new version of role; Behind-the-scenes as bonus feature in 'Captain America: Civil War' Blu-Ray

Upcoming Marvel superhero film "Doctor Strange" will be hitting the big screen later this year. Fans who have followed Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange aka Doctor Strange in the comics are excited to watch the motion picture version already especially since the first trailer has already been released.
The trailer featured the key characters of the film including Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton). However, the fans noticed that Doctor Strange's sidekick and valet Wong was missing in action. Fortunately, Benedict Wong, the actor who will be playing the character, has divulged some details about his role.
During an interview with Den of Geek, Wong said that his character will be a different version from the comics. The sidekick, valet and martial arts master that the fans know of in the comics is not going to be exactly the same one that will be featured in the film.
"I'm certainly not going to be the tea-making manservant. We're heading in a different direction. He's more of a drill sergeant," Wong stated.
He also mentioned that there isn't going to be martial arts for the character Wong in the film. Instead, he will take on more of a drill sergeant role to Kamar-Taj, which is the small, secluded community in the Himalayas that is home to sorcerers and mystics including the Ancient One. Wong is also going to be one of the masters of sorcery.
The "Marco Polo" actor also shared that as of now, there are no other planned Marvel movies for his character in the future yet. He said that they are just starting off with the first one and that he is glad that he is almost done with "Doctor Strange."
Meanwhile, for those who want to see behind-the-scenes footages of the movie, they can get hold of the various digital and Blu-ray copies of "Captain America: Civil War." Yahoo! detailed that exclusive sneak peek videos have been added in the compilation as a bonus feature. It will be available digitally on Sept. 2 while the on-demand versions will be out by Sept. 13.
"Doctor Strange" will premiere on Nov. 4.
