'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' release date news 2016: Upcoming game available on Oct. 25, to feature Super Saiyan 3 transformation
After months of speculation, the release date of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has finally been revealed by Bandai Namco. The highly anticipated sequel to the 2014 hit action video game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" is set for release on October 25 in Japan. The rest of the world will be having the latest video game a few days after the initial release date in Japan.

It has long been rumored that Bandai Namco will be releasing "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" first in Japan, possibly around winter this year. As iDigital Times reported, the Japanese game developer company is ready to unleash the game to the world on October 25.
Aside from the release date of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," the latest game trailer released by Bandai Namco also revealed new story elements and exciting game features. There are new characters that are going to be introduced in the game with their corresponding special power-ups. In the case of Saiyans, the upcoming game sequel will finally allow the players to reach the Super Saiyan 3 transformation with the players' own customized character.
The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" trailer also shows more about the new town in the game introduced at last month's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016. The trailer shows the players being able to fly or use cars to move around the area. The fans can also see more of Frieza as the trailer shows a player character infiltrating the headquarter of Frieza's army.
Meanwhile, the music used in the said trailer was made by the world renowned DJ, Steve Aoki. It appears that the multiple Grammy Award nominee has contributed a lot of his knowledge in music to create various musical scores in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
The talented DJ and music producer is responsible for some of the greatest and most popular electro house tracks today, and this time for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," he is involved in transforming the popular "Dragon Ball" soundtracks with more modern beats. As reported by Lazy Gamer, Aoki is rumored to be involved in creating remix versions of past "Dragon Ball" songs such as "We Gotta Power" and "Cha-La-Head-Cha-La."
Perhaps the most interesting rumor reported by the said online publication is Aoki being the voice of one of the NPCs in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." However, neither Aoki or Bandai Namco confirmed this rumor.
