'Faking It' Season 3: Finally back for the 'best season yet'

The cast all have their own issues to deal with in Season 3 of Faking It | FACEBOOK/Official Page of Faking It

MTV's "Faking It" is a comedy show about Karma and Amy—two high school best friends who pretended to be lesbians to get the approval of their peers and the rest of their high school. Little did they know that faking a lesbian relationship might end up in an overwhelming steamy love affair. This is where their lives become comedic gold. In season 2, they parted ways. Amy left their town.

"The show has grown up a little bit this season as the characters are getting older," showrunner Carter Covington told TVLine. "We're able to tell more sophisticated stories, because everyone knows the characters so well. I think it's our best season yet." He also added, "Well, I can say that writing Episode 301 was the most I've struggled with a script for a while. Having Amy and Karma not in a happy place was a challenge, but we're all excited about exploring what happens to a friendship when something big like this happens. It felt bigger than when Karma found out Amy slept with Liam."

Season 3 is overwhelmingly amazing with so many things happening in the first episode that aired officially on March 15, with the hashtag #SorryNotSorry. Amy came back with no regrets of leaving and having his main man, Liam, beside him. Karma has her own love story on point as well with a Hawaiian guy he met over the summer who hates drama. They were supposed to all go back to normal, live their normal lives and forget they ever had feelings for each other. Of course that won't happen! There are 10 more episodes left for Season 3 and is said to be the "best season yet" with everything from Amy and Karma's love, Karma and Shane being closer and Liam's religious preference, Judaism.

"Faking It" aired its first season on April 22, 2014, on MTV and ever since, it has garnered a number of awards. The comedy show has won a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout Show and was very popular in 2013. The two protagonists played by Katie Stevens and Rita Wolf are also known for their comedy movies "I'll Bring The Awkward" and "The Hungover Games."
