There were rumors going around that despite the "Nuka World" downloadable content (DLC) being declared as the final extra content for "Fallout 4," Bethesda Softworks will release more.

Unfortunately, that won't be the case. Pete Hines, the vice president of public relations and marketing at Bethesda, reiterated that the "Nuka World" DLC will be the "last one."

The "Fallout 4: Nuka World" DLC will be released this August. It will be a substantial update to the game and should be a great way to end the post-launch releases for it.

"Nuka World" takes place in the titular Nuka Cola-themed amusement park that lawless Raiders eventually transformed into their territory. The description for the "Fallout 4" DLC reads:

Explore an all-new region with an open wasteland and park zones like Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and the Galactic Zone. Lead lethal gangs of Raiders and use them to conquer settlements, bending the Commonwealth to your will. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders, weapons, creatures, and more. Enjoy the ride!

Although it will be heartbreaking for gamers to see Bethesda move on from "Fallout 4," it made sense that they let go of the game as they will be busy with tons of upcoming games for its fans.

Bethesda will work on a couple of games and these titles will be massive, and will surely take a long time. This is what Hines emphasized in an interview with IGN last month.

"I'm just making sure folks understand, like, that doesn't mean [Bethesda studio head Todd Howard is] going to spit out a DLC and another DLC and we're head faking," he explained.

"Like, I need folks to understand that we're talking about big games like a Skyrim and a Fallout 4 and a Fallout 3 and those don't just happen," he continued.

After these two biggies, only then will Bethesda work on "Elder Scrolls 6." With that said, Bethesda will be very busy in the coming years, and revisiting "Fallout 4" with a DLC might not happen after "Nuka World."
