The second season of "Fear the Walking Dead" has left fans on cliffhanger as the fates of the characters are still unknown. It will still be a while before the third installment will be returning to the small screens, but rumors are already circulating online with what will happen to the characters next season.

It was stated in reports that Travis Manwa, played by Cliff Curtis, will become a different person in the new season. He will be more aggressive in protecting the ones he loves and will not be hesitant to kill anyone that gets in his way. The change of personality of the character was caused by the death of his son during the second season.

There are also speculations that the origin of the zombie virus will be explored.  Even "The Walking Dead" has not tackled this yet. Speculations say Nick may play a key role in the virus' birthplace.

Reports suggest the show will also go to a different path to avoid being overshadowed by "The Walking Dead."

It was also found out at the second season finale that Nick and his companions encountered a group of military men at the border between Mexico and the U.S. This was supposed to be the hope of his group, but it turns out that these people were not very friendly and started firing at them. Also, Madison and Alicia have left the hotel with Travis and have nowhere else to go. In addition, there are also rumors that Madison will cross paths with his son, Nick, once again.

There is no definite release date yet for "Fear the Walking Dead," but it may arrive during the summer of 2017. It will consist of 16 episodes.
