The ending of the fifth season of "Game of Thrones" saw the death of everybody's favorite bastard, Jon Snow (Kit Harington). Like many people predicted, Jon would be brought back to life in the next season, but apparently, Kit Harington has not been pleased with the character development that Jon Snow is going through.

In an interview with The Wrap, Harington explains how he thought death might have affected Jon when he was brought back to life. He says, "I knew I was coming back to life, but I didn't know if I'd come back as a changed person, as a villain. So I couldn't pre-plan anything, which was hard... And then I got the scripts, and actually, he comes back as himself, as the Jon that everyone knows."

Harington also said that he was disappointed at first, but he understands that Jon's development would be a sort of quiet revelation. When Jon comes back, he said that there was no Afterlife and that there was nothing that came after death. Jon was always a soldier who never really feared death, but after experiencing it first hand, he knows what to expect, and now, there is a whole different drive to the character.

Some fans also shared Harington's disdain for the lack of character change that Jon Snow underwent after death. When he comes back, his death is not addressed as much, and he was pretty much the same guy all throughout the season.

As of now, pre-production is ongoing for the seventh season of "Game of Thrones" which is said to be a short one (at least seven episodes long). The show is expected to end with the eighth season. It was also previously revealed that the last two seasons would have a total of about 13 episodes.

Fans of the series may be saying goodbye to "Game of Thrones" soon, but another series where author George R.R. Martin is heavily involved with, called "Wild Cards," is said to be getting an adaptation for television as well.
