'God's Not Dead 2' producer responds to critics' comments about fake Christian persecution

"God's Not Dead," a Christian film released in 2014 about the argument between the existence or absence of God, received generally negative reviews from critics, getting a 15 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, as the release of "God's Not Dead 2" is closing in, producer and actor David A.R. White has responded to those who say that the sequel is "full of fake Christian persecution."
"It's an interesting thing, because, if it wasn't real, why do they get so offended by it? I don't think it would annoy people if it wasn't true," White said during an interview with TheBlaze. "At the end of 'God's Not Dead 1′ and even part two, we throw up about 50 different court cases that are dealing with similar issues right now."
"God's Not Dead 2" centers on a high school teacher who is taken to court after answering a student's question about Jesus.
Regarding the Ruiner2000, I can confirm what the 4chan guy said about it.

You can install rockets and stuff.
"In real life, even atheist groups wouldn't blink over this," wrote blogger Hermant Mehta in a post titled "The Trailer of God's Not Dead 2 is Full of Fake Christian Persecution."
"They sure as hell wouldn't file a lawsuit or send a letter of complaint because the teacher wasn't proselytizing. But for those who live in the Christian Persecution Bubble, even mentioning the Bible will get them in trouble. It's a lie they tell themselves so they can pretend to be martyrs," the blogger continued.
However, according to Professor Darrell Bock, executive director for Cultural Engagement at DTS' Hendricks Center, the sequel is a direct presentation, although it is might be meant more for believers than those who are still skeptical.
"I think it resonates with those who have faith and see a rising more hostile culture," he told The Christian Post in February. "My one question is if it is really too direct to really reach a skeptic like I was before I became a believer."
"God's Not Dead 2" will be shown in theaters on April 1.
