Google Nexus 2016 release date news: HTC-made devices to be unveiled imminently?

The Google Nexus 2016 is rumored to be unveiled at the Google I/O developer conference. The software titan is expected to launch two versions of its smartphone flagship.
Google has so far shown no signs of this happening, but media outlets believe that the event will be a perfect place for the tech firm to make the announcement.
The pair of Google Nexus 2016 devices will reportedly be developed by Taiwan-based tech firm HTC. Reports indicate that one of the Nexus 2016 products may be an upgrade to the HTC Nexus 9, which was released in 2014.
This makes sense for the reason that HTC is the one on board working with Google for the new product and that the tablet was not refreshed last year. HTC recently ceased production of the device, which may mean that a replacement might indeed be on the way.
However, the discontinuation is also believed to be due to the HTC Nexus 9's old age. Before Google pulled the plug on the device, the Nexus 6 and Nexus Player were also given death sentence.
The Google Nexus 2016 will be the first devices to sport the Android N operating system, which brings with it big features and surprises.
According to reports, the Google Nexus 2016 will come with a pressure-sensitive display, which functions the same way as Apple's famous 3D Touch introduced in the iPhone 6S.
Android N was designed with such feature in mind, which is why other devices that will run the OS will be able to take advantage of the feature as well.
With regards to the rest of the specs, the Google Nexus 2016 devices are said to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with RAM amounting from 4 GB to a more premium and more powerful 6 GB RAM.
If the rumors are accurate, fans will get their first look at the Google Nexus 2016 soon.
