'Jurassic World 2' premiere date, spoiler news: Alan Grant not making a cameo; plot to center on spread of dinosaurs?

"Jurassic World 2" still has a long way to go before it could make its way to the big screen, but updates regarding it has already surfaced ahead. Just recently, the question on whether Dr. Alan Grant is making a cameo or not has finally been answered.
According to reports, actor Sam Neill is not making an appearance in the upcoming sequel. Fans have been hoping a lot that the original cast member of the franchise will make an appearance even just for a short time, but unfortuantely, Niell has confirmed that Dr. Alan is not coming back.
In an interview with ShortList for the promotion of his new film "Hunt for the Wilderpeople," Niell provided a rather tongue-in-cheek information about Dr. Alan.
"I think the problem is that no one knows where Alan Grant is anymore," Niell said. "He's retired from paleontology. He's sick to death of dinosaurs and running," he added. Moreover, he joked about Dr. Alan already too old for the stint and he is guessing that his character either ended up as a retired paleontologist in Dayton, Ohia with a "very successful accountancy business" or "he's dead."
Now that Niell has already clarified everything, fans can drop now the fantasy of ever seeing Dr. Alan in "Jurassic World 2." They may also might as well lose the hope of catching Jeff Goldblum, who played the role of theorist Ian Malcolm in "Jurassic Park" and "The Lost World" series. Fans were wondering if he too will be back for a cameo, but it seems like there is a low chance of that happening now.
Apparently, bringing back old characters into the new mix is not just the plan right now for the "Jurassic World" franchise. Currently, details of the film are carefully kept under the wraps but reports said that the plot for the part two may center on the spread of the dangerous dinosaur-creation technology.
"Jurassic World 2" is slated to be released sometime in June 2018.
