Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom back together rumors 2016: Khloe opens up about Lamar Odom split, Christian faith and more

Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her Christian faith and her tumultuous relationship with ex-husband Lamar Odom, in a lengthy letter published Tuesday, May 17.
Writing for Lena Dunham's Lenny newsletter, the 31-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star revealed that despite her ongoing divorce with Odom, she does not actually believe in it.
"At my core, I don't believe in divorce," Kardashian said. "But I came to a point in my marriage where I had to make the choice to take care of my own mental and emotional well-being in order to protect myself and my happiness."
The reality star filed for divorce in December 2013 after four years of marriage with the former NBA star. However, she had to call off her divorce following Odom's much-talked about hospitalization in October 2015. According to reports, the ex-couple decided to move forward with the divorce as Odom fully recovered.
Kardashian explained that while it was challenging for her to come to a decision to get divorced, she felt at peace with it and that she kept her wedding vows "with every inch of my heart."
"I believe in caring for my partner — past or present — 'in sickness and in health,' and feel at peace with my relationship with God even after the fact," the reality star said. She added that she's thankful to God whom she can rely on, and who, along with her family, has led her through "some of the most difficult times of my life."
Kardashian also revealed in her letter that she's "a very spiritual person." She shared that her belief in a higher power has guided her in making the right decisions. However, she said faith should not be a reason for one to judge other people's religions and beliefs.
"I don't believe you need to be a certain religion to embrace someone else's religion. It's a matter of respecting someone," the KUWTK star said. "I'm a Christian but I don't think a church necessarily makes you religious."
