MacBook Pro 2016 release date news, updates: Device to launch in October with Skylake processor, OLED touch bar?

October is coming fast and it can only mean one thing for Apple fanatics — the MacBook Pro 2016 could be arriving already.
Fans have been on the constant lookout for Apple's latest laptop line, hoping to get an answer on when it will most likely be out in the market. According to reports, analysts believe that the gadget is expected to be launched this October. HIS Securities analyst Rhoda Alexander also spoke to Forbes and revealed that next month is most likely the due date of the MacBook Pro 2016 together with the MacBook Air.
"Production started in the second calendar quarter on refreshes of the 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch MacBook Pro [and] the 13.3-inch MacBook Air," Alexander said.
She then added that the product will be unveiled by late September or October. However, since September is almost ending, the latter date is most expected. Nothing is certain yet so fans will have to wait and see if the Cupertino-based tech giant will really release new versions of the MacBook lines.
As for the specs and features, details are kept under wraps, but rumors have it that the MacBook Pro 2016 will be running with a Skylake Processor. However, the inclusion of Intel's Kaby Lake chip may not be possible, considering the timing of the start of production.
Moreover, reports said that the new model laptop will be featuring Touch ID support, an OLED touch bar located above the keyboard and a more powerful graphics processing unit (GPU) from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). There is also a high chance that the device will be equipped with macOS 10.21 software.
A Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C are also said to be incorporated into the mix. If all of the reports are true and Apple is on schedule, the MacBook Pro 2016 could be released by the second half of October. Interested consumers will have to stay tuned for more updates on the MacBook Pro 2016.
