The release of the remastered version of "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" has not been getting any love from the players who bought the game. The game was said to be littered with different bugs and problems. Good news, however, because Activision has released a patch to fix the issues that players have experienced with the game. Apart from that, a downloadable content (DLC) is said to be in the works.

According to a report by Game Informer, the PC patch will fix several issues that have surfaced since the release of the game. The patch will fix any mapping issue that came with the use of an Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller; specifically, issues with the controller's A button. Audio fixes which should take care of some of the crackling sounds are also included in the patch. Player invitations for the game are improved, and UI updates have been added to address the disconnection issues that players have been getting when they play online.

Additional characters are also said to be available with an upcoming DLC. Gamers will also be pleased to hear that the said DLC is free and available on all three platforms (Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC). The release date for the DLC hasn't been announced, but it is definitely on its way.

Fans have initially been on the fence with purchasing the remastered version of "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance." The game was set to come out with a $40 price tag for each installment and $60 for a bundle which is considered to be expensive for a game that was released almost 10 years ago. Disinterest also came with the bad reviews on the game's release.

Hopefully, the patches and the free DLC will restore some good faith between the game developers and the fans.
