'Maze Runner 3' release date delay news: Premiere postponed due to lead actor's accident?
Production for the third "Maze Runner" movie has reportedly been delayed due to lead actor Dylan O'Brien's car accident.

According to reports, O'Brien found himself hit by a car while trying to shoot a stunt for the film. Fox Productions has also found itself in a lawsuit case after WorkSafeBC, the company serving as the safety agency for the film, found the production to be at fault for O'Brien's accident. Rumors have also been going around that O'Brien is blaming Fox for the accident as well, but the actor has refused to give any comment on the incident.
Other reports have even gone so far as to say that O'Brien has quit filing "Maze Runner 3" in order to give his injuries time to heal, but again, no official word has come from O'Brien or Fox.
Entertainment Weekly, however, says that the movie has not been canceled; it has only been delayed following the lead actor's accident. The production team and management for the movie are reportedly willing to wait until O'Brien makes a complete recovery.
According to FX News Call, Wes Ball, director of all the "Maze Runner" movies, says that the production will resume shooting once Dylan O'Brien is done working on the production of the TV show, "Teen Wolf." Hopefully by that time, O'Brien's schedule will be clear.
The third movie in the "Maze Runner" series is reportedly called "Maze Runner: The Death Cure," and it will be based on the third and final book in the series of young-adult novels by James Dashner. The book that came out after "The Death Cure," "The Kill Order" is actually a prequel to the trilogy, and fans have also been asking for a movie adaptation of that book, but the production is still focused on the movie that they're shooting now.
