Microsoft Surface Pro 5 release date and rumors: Device may be announced this October or early 2017

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 was released back in October 2015 and has been getting praise from users everywhere. A lot of fans are expecting a new device in the Surface Pro series to arrive before the year ends, and they speculate that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could be coming this October. Some are less positive and expect the device to come early next year.
According to PC Advisor, an announcement for the Surface Pro 5 is very likely to come in October. A new image from a developer has shared a photo of what looks like what's next in Microsoft's lineup, and there is something which looks like a Surface device with the tags "2016" and "Coming Soon" on them. There are also three devices that have been tagged with "2017."
Some speculate that the Surface Pro 5 could be delayed until next year in order to give Microsoft time to make sure that the device is devoid of any bugs or problems. Back when the Surface Pro 4 was released in 2015, multiple problems were reported, including battery drain. Taking time may be the best move, and best guesses say that the Surface Pro 5 will get its official announcement by March 2017.
A big factor to the delay could possibly be the operating system that Microsoft is working on called Redstone or RS2 — 2 because it's actually the second part of an update. When the Surface Pro 5 comes out, it may be running with the Redstone update.
Some rumors have gone on to say that the Surface Pro 5 will come with a unique stylus. The pen will come with a rechargeable battery and it will recharge wirelessly when it is connected to the Surface Pro 5. The current Surface Pen can be connected magnetically, but it is yet to have any rechargeable feature.
Speculations predict that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come sometime next year.
