Just a few more days left until "No Man's Sky" lands in stores for purchase. Many have been waiting for this action-adventure survival video game and after countless delays in its release, it's finally coming. However, there's going to be a slight delay for the PC version.

According to the game's official website, the massive space exploration game is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 4 on Aug. 9 in the U.S. Meanwhile, Europe will get the game on Aug. 10. Many initially thought that the game will also be arriving on PC on the same date. It turns out that it will be late for a few days.

The PC version of the game will be available on Aug. 12 worldwide. But at least it's not as long as the entire wait for the game. "No Man's Sky" was first announced during Sony's press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2014 but had been in the works since 2013. The game was previously set for a June 2016 release but developer Hello Games revealed in May that the game will not be ready until August.

Creative director Sean Murray also revealed that the game experienced some legal hiccups when British television provider Sky sued Hello games for the use of the word "sky" in the title. But things have been settled already and the title is now cleared.

Finally, the game production finished earlier this month. To pick up the game, PS4 gamers can get it on a disc in standard and limited editions. It will also be available digitally on PSN. For PC gamers, they can get it through Steam, GOG.com, Humble Store and iam8bit's exclusive Explorer's Edition.

It's also revealed that the game will not need the PlayStation Plus in order to play online. As noted by Game Informer, a representative from Sony confirmed that the premium subscription of the console is not a requirement. Nonetheless, gamers will still need to be connected to the internet for their discoveries to register with the universal atlas.
