Noah's Ark replica called 'Genocide and Incest Park' by atheists

A group of atheists and freethinkers are not happy with the construction of a life-sized replica of Noah's Ark in Kentucky. The Tri-State Freethinkers intend to put up billboards to express what they think about the Ark Encounter theme park – that it is a "Genocide and Incest Park."
In an email to the Huffington Post, president of Tri-State Freethinkers Jim Helton said, "In Genesis Chapters 6-9, the God of the Bible was unhappy with man, so he decided to kill every living thing, except for one family and two of each animal. We see no other way to look at this other than mass genocide."
"This is the second time that incest was used to populate the world," he also said. "We are taught this story as children as a fun story, as a good story, filled with animals and a boat. People rarely take a look at the actual story because when they do, they realize how immoral it is."
The Genocide & Incest Billboard Campaign acknowledges that while the owner-operator of the project, Answers in Genesis, has the right to build the structure, the group finds that it "highly inappropriate as family entertainment." Their awareness campaign aims to raise awareness, and they are accepting donations to fund it.
This is not the first time that the theme park has been under fire. The International Business Times reported in October 2014 of the hiring requirements for the project, including a "Statement of Faith," a "Salvation Testimony" and a "Creation Statement Belief." This has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, as it was considered discriminatory.
The problems, however, have not stopped the company from pushing through with the project. Several videos have been uploaded showing the project's progress. The advertisement posted on YouTube on March 15 shows the interior and exterior of the ark replica.

Ark Encounter is being constructed in Williamson, Kentucky right off exit 154. It will feature a 510-foot long (200,000 square-foot) replica of Noah's Ark, to be ready for the general public on July 7.
