'Once Upon A Time' season 6 spoilers, plot news: Hyde to turn Storybrooke upside down within 10 episodes

Hyde (Sam Witwer), who made his first appearance in "Once Upon A Time" season 5 finale, will not be around for a while, but he will have a profound impact on the story in "Once Upon A Time" season 6.
As part of the efforts to bring the show back to its roots and come back to tackling "small town stories" rather than a season-long storyline, Hyde will only be in the first 10 episodes of "Once Upon A Time" season 6.
Despite this brief appearance, the character hailing from the Land of Untold Stories will be making quite an impression on Storybrooke in "Once Upon A Time" season 6.
"The condition of life in Storybrooke is very important. Hyde's arrival impacts that," executive producer Adam Horowitz told Entertainment Weekly of the "Once Upon A Time" newcomer.
"We're planning to explore a lot of what that's going to mean for the day-to-day life in Storybrooke," he continued.
Ten episodes into "Once Upon A Time" season 6, the Hyde storyline will be wrapped up (he will apparently die) and the show will ultimately return to its old storytelling approach.
"One of the things that we really want to get back to this year is that season 1 and 2 vibe of small town stories," co-executive producer Edward Kitsis said.
"Being in Storybrooke and getting back to Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) as the teacher, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) as the sheriff, Grumpy (Lee Arenberg) as the janitor," he added.
This should also allow more characters to be featured in the latter half of "Once Upon A Time" season 6. The series has already teased the potential appearances of some classic literary icons.
In fact, the show is already in search of actors who can play the role of "One Thousand and One Nights" characters Sinbad and Scheherazade in "Once Upon A Time" season 6.
"Once Upon A Time" season 6 will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
