Blizzard Entertainment's upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter video game "Overwatch" will soon hit the gaming world on May 24, and it will be the first time that Blizzard will launch a video game on both PC and consoles—namely PS4 and Xbox One, simultaneously. The performance of the game in PC version can be imagined at its best as what the previous Blizzard video games display, but what the players want to know is how "Overwatch" will perform in consoles.

In an interview with Eurogamer via Technobuffalo, "Overwatch" game director Jeff Kaplan revealed some information regarding the newest video game's look when played in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. He said that the game will run as perfect as it can be given the capability of the hardware being used.

"It's using a scaling resolution system, so if you're in [an] optimal environment, it'll as max resolution as the system allows."

If the hardware is good enough and can be utilized for maximum graphics optimization, it would mean that "Overwatch" can be played on the consoles at 1080p resolution and frame rate of up to 60 fps.

"It maintains those most of the time, you know? We're constantly tracking how the performance is doing there. And then, obviously, if there's a lot going on at once, you know, getting 12 Zaryas in the room and then all hit your Ultimate at the same time, it'll scale down accordingly to make sure that it maintains that 60 frames per second," Kaplan added.

Blizzard will also have new patch updates for the beta version of "Overwatch" available to players. The new patch updates include a new map called Route 66, a new game mode called "Weekly Brawl," an updated "Play of the Game" option, and other additional features.

Route 69 is based in the United States which is still present in the game. However, travelers and players who like to go on road trips will no longer have access to the main road, but the map will feature gas stations, roadside shops, cafes and the infamous Deadlock Gorge. On the outer areas of the map lies the Deadlock Gang who are up to no good as always and planning the biggest heist in the game yet.

The Weekly Brawl game mode will feature different scenarios that include "Super Shimada Bros.," "Mystery Heroes," "Justice Rains From Above!" "Arcade," "We're All Soldiers Now," "High Noon," "Show Your Support," "Tanks A Lot," "Overly Defensive," "Highly Offensive," "Head's Up!" "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly," "MOBA-watch" and "Girl Power."
