'Pokémon GO' cheats, hacks: Popular bot Necrobot plays the game without player opening up the app

"Pokémon GO" is now a worldwide craze, and there's no telling when the hype will die down, but it's predicted that it's going to be a long time until fans get over this free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game developed by Niantic for iOS and Android.
Due to the intense popularity of the game, some have resorted to using cheats or hacks to level up without having to actually play the game as it is meant to be played. As detailed in a report, "Pokémon GO" GPS hacks are available. Aside from that, bots, such as Necrobot and Pokébuddy, have also surfaced.
The most commonly used hack is the Necrobot which could play the game for the player. Its setup could be easily done by beginners and works by logging in a player's account. From there, the bot will play the game on behalf of the player, even without opening up the game app.
As detailed in a report, Necrobot helps in capturing, evolving, and transferring monsters. It farms items from Pokéstops. Moreover, it follows the players' character movement. It's revealed to be customizable, so it can adjust depending on the requirements and the need.
To use this hack, the player simply needs a computer with an internet connection. They also need to provide the coordinates for their preferred starting location. Users would then need to log on to their account. While one can use a Pokémon Trainer Club account, it's safer to use a Google account. Once everything is set up, the Necrobot will start doing its thing.
Players should be cautious in using Necrobot as Niantic may ban those who will be caught using this hack. The company had already disabled other Pokémon GO bot programs, but hackers managed to break in again.
