The widely popular mobile game "Pokemon Go" has found its way to the U.K., and  fans couldn't be any happier. The app was released earlier this month in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. On the other hand, Germany was the first country in Europe to get its hands on "Pokemon Go," with the game's official release in the country earlier this week.

According to Telegraph, Twitter is currently flooded with tweets about everyone's excitement with being able to play the game, which has gained enormous popularity worldwide since the day of its release.

The game allows users to catch Pokemon "in real life" with the use of their smartphones. The phones would vibrate in the presence of nearby Pokemon, and players use their phones to "catch" the so-called Pokemon and even battle other players, just like in the original game. One unique feature of the game is its promotion of exercise, requiring players to walk certain distances to hatch Pokemon, and scour different areas to find different types of Pokemon.

Niantic, which developed "Pokemon Go" along with Nintendo, has reportedly been having problems with the server since there has been a huge influx of users accessing the app. So many people have been engrossed in the game that the Google searches for "Pokemon Go" have surpassed the searches for "porn."

Nintendo has been seeing good fortune since the release of the app, and has been gaining about $1.6 million a day from iPhone users in the U.S. alone. Its market shares have also gotten a 50 percent rise last week.

Of course, fans of Pokemon exist not just in the countries where the game was released but also around the world. In a recent report, IGN released a statement from the game developers themselves, which talked about the possible release of "Pokemon Go" in other countries.

"The team is currently heads down working on the game. We do not have any announced plans for countries beyond New Zealand, Australia, US and Germany at the moment," the statement read.

Though the release in other countries is not clear for now, it's highly doubtful that it will remain this way, as there is a lot of potential for Nintendo to earn with more users playing "Pokemon Go" worlwide.
