'Pokemon Go' tips & cheats 2016: Where to find Legendary Pokemon?
Ever since the release of "Pokemon Go," countless would-be Poketrainers have come out of their homes to "catch 'em all;" but can they really? Sure, trainers have been able to catch Zubats, Pickachus and Eevees, but where are the big guns? Where are Mewtwo, Mew, Articuno, or Zapdos?

Forbes may have an answer — or at least, a smart guess. The reason why players haven't been able to catch any Legendary Pokemon is because the game requires players to be in a higher level in order to have rarer Pokemon appear.
Some have been doubtful that Legendary Pokemon are even in the game, but dataminers have been digging through the files, and they've actually found them, so it's only a matter of time before some trainers get to see a Mewtwo or Moltres flying around in their area.
Fans also speculate that the choice in teams will have an effect on the appearances of these Legendary Pokemon. Each of the three teams have Legendary birds as their mascot: Moltres for Team valor, Articuno for Team Mystic, and Zapdos for Team Instinct. Some may think that this has something to do with a team's ability to catch Pokemon, but if that were the case, it would be hard to "catch 'em all" if Pokemon were exclusive to one group.
If players looked back to the initial trailer for "Pokemon Go," they'll notice that it boasts features that aren't available in the current game. The trailer also involves a scene in Times Square where an entire crowd bands together to fight a Mewtwo. Niantic has had a similar event happen in its previous game, "Ingress," so perhaps Legendary Pokemon will be tied-in to in-game events.
Nevertheless, the world of "Pokemon Go" is still growing, and there are still countless of opportunities for players to catch every Pokemon down the line. After all, the fun is in the collecting, not in the actual completion of the game.
