Samsung Galaxy Note 6/Note 7 release date, specs news: Phablet getting an Edge version?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will not only skip numbering to keep it in line with the Galaxy S flagships, it might even additionally come with an Edge variant.
A listing at the Indian import site Zauba made mention of a metal mask for a Samsung device with the model number SM-N935G, which hints that it is a Note device because the letter "N" as in Note.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has the model number SM-N920 and Samsung tends to change the last number to "5" to designate the product as an Edge variant.
This is why the Samsung Galaxy S7 has the model number SM-G930 and the Edge variant is SM-G935. If the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 gets an Edge version, it should follow the model number SM-N935G like the one on the Zauba listing.
In the months that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was leaked and talked about, this is the first time an Edge version of the phablet was hinted. It will also be the first time for the Note family to get an Edge version should this come to pass.
That does not include the Galaxy Note Edge, which only had one curved edge, released two years ago. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge, like all the other Edge versions that came out, is expected to sport a double curved screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7, which was dubbed Galaxy Note 6 for a while until a report suggesting the name change, is rumored to come with a 5.8-inch Quad HD display. To power it up will either be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor or an Exynos 8890 clocked higher.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 successor is also believed to offer 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage as its base model. The device will get a 12-megapixel rear camera and will carry a 4000 mAh battery. A new Gear VR headset is expected to come with it.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be released this August.
