Samsung Galaxy Note 7 release date, specs rumors: new S-Pen features, 6-inch display

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is rumored to come with a redesigned S-Pen with a couple of additional features, at least according to a copy of a Samsung memo obtained by tech publication iGyaan.
As the purported release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 nears, more leaks about the phablet continue to hit the web. This particular leak hints that the device's stylus will come with two exciting features.
The first one is the self-explanatory Dictionary feature and the second one is dubbed as Speaking, which the site describes as a text-to-voice feature.
On top of that, the site believes that the S-Pen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will get a design overhaul, which will either eliminate the push to eject button on the stylus or tweak it so it can function better than it did in the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
The memo also suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with an iris scanner that can lock apps and other individual folders apart from the screen itself.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is said to come in a borderless display although the site explains that this could be the rumored Edge version being referred to.
Lastly, the site confirmed that the next-generation Note phablet will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor, the successor of the Snapdragon 820 chipset used on majority of premium smartphones available.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is also rumored to come with a 6-inch display. A listing on the Indian import and export site Zauba suggests that Samsung is testing the said enormous screen.
Prior to this leak, the reports claimed that the device will sport a 5.7-inch display. This means that the one with the 6-inch screen could simply end up as a variant.
Tech insider Evan Blass also revealed on Twitter that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come in three color variants –Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Coral.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be unveiled on Aug. 2.
