Samsung Galaxy S8 rumors: Developers are trying out a new processor

Samsung tech heads are busy speculating online about the follow-up to the Galaxy S7, and some rumors say that the Galaxy S8 will be running on a next-gen processor called Exynos.
Samsung is currently testing out the capabilities of the Exynos processor, and it is said to be one fast processor at that. The new processor will have all new 10nm process architecture and will be dubbed the Exynos 8895. Rumors say that the Exynos 8895 tops the current-gen processor, and clocked 4GHz during internal testing; that's about a 30% increase in performance.
Though no official word has come from Samsung about the Exynos 8895, speculations guess that it would be the processor for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. The device is expected to launch sometime around early 2017 and has been codenamed Project Dream according to Tech Buffalo.
The new device is also rumored to have a 4K 5.5-inch display designed for virtual reality, and it could come in a single curved-screen version, depending on the market performance of the Galaxy Note 7. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is also said to include features such as 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, and an all new camera set-up. There are also rumors that the device will have an iris scanner, but as of now, they are unclear.
If tradition is any indication, the next smartphone in the Galaxy S lineup will be announced at the Mobile World Congress in February next year. Others guess that the Galaxy S8 will be announced at the Barcelona trade show on Feb. 27, 2017.
As of now, all fans have to depend on are rumors and speculation, but it is true that Samsung has a lot of time to work on its incoming headset way before the speculated release date.
