'Steven Universe' season 4 spoilers, plot news: Rose Quartz, Pearl to star in future episodes?
The holiday episode of "Steven Universe" season 4 has already aired on Cartoon Network early this month, but fans are still eager to learn more about the show's future for the rest of the season.
But while the network remains mum about the plot of the upcoming episodes for season 4, several speculations claim that the series is in danger of cancellation.
However, several reports also claim that the coming-of-age animated series will return for more episodes after New Year. According to iTechPost, at least 17 more episodes will be released before season 4 concludes. Yet, there are no details yet regarding the plot for the show's future episodes.
Meanwhile, a leaked report claims that one of the future episodes of "Steven Universe" season 4 will feature the backstory of Rose Quartz. On the other hand, a post from Reddit mentioned that something big is about to happen in the show, and it will involve Pearl.
According to Redditor Mandy-Flowers, the voice director of the Latin American version of "Steven Universe" named Angel Lugo teased in Spanish that a big plot will unravel when season 4 returns after the holiday break. In the translated version of his post, Lugo stated "One of the advantages of directing a series is that you get to know the BOMBS (important things) even before the protagonists #surprises #secrets".
Lugo also reportedly tweeted to Pearl's voice actor MarÃa José Estévez, saying that they need to talk because her character will be involved in the major plot revelation.
While the network has yet to confirm if the rumors about the plot of "Steven Universe" are true, two of its future episodes will be titled "Tiger Philanthropist" and "Beach Shorts." Yet the release date for the said episodes after the holiday break are yet to be announced in the coming days.
