'Supernatural' Season 12 spoilers: Brothers explore relationship with mother

The upcoming episode of "Supernatural" season 12 could be bringing an interesting narrative, which could also present some tragedy.

Titled "Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox," the upcoming episode could bring an intriguing plot. It is believed that the characters of the show could be mourning some sort of loss in the new story.

The synopsis explained that the hunters will gather in order to commemorate the life and death of another hunter. Though it is a sad moment for the hunter, Sam, played by Jared Padalecki and Dean played by Jensen Ackles will be faced with an interesting challenge. It was reported the two of them, along with Mary, played by guest star Samantha Smith, will have to deal with the demons who are killing the hunters.

Because of Mary's presence, fans are excited to see what will happen to the brothers. The two actors recently shared some insight into the matter, explaining the relationship each character has with Mary, their mother.

Ackles stated, "There are certainly two different relationships going on from Sam's perspective, and then from [Dean's] perspective as well. Because Sam never had a relationship with mom. He was an infant. And Dean didn't have much of one either. A lot of what he knows and what he remembers about his mother was kind of dictated to him by his father. It's more his father's memories of her than it is Dean's established memories of her."

With that, fans can expect to learn more details about the brother's dynamics, as well as their history with their mother. This will also give the episode an interesting touch since it is dealing with an emotional plotline. Because of this, many are looking forward to the episode ahead.
