'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers, plot news: New player in town revealed; should fans be worried about Stiles?
"Teen Wolf" season 6 has added a new cast member in the person of Ross Butler of Disney Channel's "Teen Beach." The actor will play the role of lacrosse player Nathan.
His character by no means believes in the supernatural, until of course he meets Scott (Tyler Posey) and friends outside the field. Nathan is not only going to get a good load of the mystical walloped in his face, he might end up being a supernatural being as well.

There's no other information about how Butler's character will be engulfed in the supernatural world in "Teen Wolf" season 6, but he is definitely going to be an exciting character to watch out for.
Butler's casting worries some "Teen Wolf" fans of Dylan O'Brien's inclusion in the MTV series. Filming has gone for a month now, but the actor, who plays Stiles in the hit supernatural drama, hasn't gone on set.
O'Brien is currently recovering from the injuries he sustained while shooting "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure." He is presently on a break, unable to attend to his previous engagements.
When he gets back, he will have a lot on his plate, including a possible major role in the upcoming movie "American Assassin," where he is set to play the key character Mitch Rapp.
He will also need to be back on the set of "The Maze Runner" and of course, "Teen Wolf" season 6. Some fans fear that he will absent for the most part in the MTV series this season, especially because there's a ton that has already been filmed.
But with no confirmation about it all yet, fans will just have to trust "Teen Wolf" executive producer Jeff Davis' words about Stiles and Lydia's (Holland Roden) feelings being the "focal point" of "Teen Wolf" season 6.
"Something big happens in the very first episode of season 6 between Stiles and Lydia, which you'll have to tune in to see," Davis told TV Line back in March. It is a mystery for now if this still stands.
Meanwhile, Butler is also part of the "Riverdale" ensemble, a series inspired by the longstanding "Archie" comics. To be executive produced by Greg Berlanti, "Riverdale" has just been picked up by The CW.
"Teen Wolf" season 6 is set to premiere later this year.
