'Tekken 7' release date news: Game to run at 1080p/60fps on PS4; swimsuit costumes won't appear in western version

Fighting game "Tekken 7" isn't coming out until next year. Fans who are looking forward to playing the game will have to wait a few months before they will be able to get their hands on it.
There is also no specific release date yet for the game but it is said to hit store shelves early in 2017. But even though the ninth installment of the series is still a long way to go, bits of information have surfaced already, giving fans a heads up on what to expect from the game.
The latest to make it to the headlines is the announcement of the title's frame rate and resolution. As revealed in a tweet by producer Katsuhiro Harada, the game will be running at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second on the PlayStation 4.
He revealed this information after a fan asked him on Twitter to confirm the details. Harada simply answered "yes" but did not reveal further information so it's not known if it will be the same for the Xbox One console and the PC version.
In other news, it seems like the swimsuit costume will be missing in action in the western version of the game due to the prevention of the U.S. Social Justice Warrior (SJW). Reports stated that Harada answered a question of one of his Twitter followers, who asked if the swimsuit costumes found in the Japanese version of the game will be available as well in the western version.
Harada only answered, "Ask your country's SJWs. HAHAHAHAHA." While Harada did not mean to offend anyone, his followers reacted to his answer with many expressing their dismay. Harada was quick to send in his apology, though, and explained that they have no problems in releasing the costumes. However, the SJW prevented the release featuring the swimsuit costumes.
Harada then suggested that maybe it will be made as a DLC in the future. That is still unknown for now but fans can stay tuned for more details.
