Those who are lucky enough to be part of the pool will be asked to come back on June 14 to claim a wristband, which will serve as their ticket to try out "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U, which will be playable from June 14 to 19.

The line starts at 7 a.m. EDT so fans will have to be really early to nab a spot. Considering the immense popularity and hype around "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U, this opportunity of a lifetime will definitely bring forth a cutthroat competition.

Fans who won't be able to make the cut will always have the opportunity to see the game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016.

Demos of the long-awaited action-adventure game will be held on June 15 to 19 as well. Those who are not part of the 500 gamers will also get to watch the action from a 15-foot screen outside of the Nintendo Store.

"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U was delayed from a release later this year to March 2017 since it will be a launch title for Nintendo NX. During E3, it will be the star of the company's presentation at E3.

Nintendo promised via VG247 that this "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U will "treat people to an immersive Zelda experience." Fans can expect the upcoming high-fantasy action adventure video game bring "something new for the franchise."

"The Legend of Zelda" Wii U has been in development since 2013 and was delayed twice. It was actually initially slated for a release last year, although Nintendo wanted to polish the game further.
