'The Sims 4' console release date: Game no-show at EA Play, PS4 and Xbox One not coming at all?

Rumors about "The Sims 4" console release have been around for a while, but Electronic Arts and Maxis never said a word about them yet, not even at the EA Play event.
The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of "The Sims 4" are expected to be available this year. However, the lack of the popular franchise's appearance in the convention hints that EA does not have anything to announce about "The Sims 4."
According to previous reports, "The Sims 4" is being ported over the Xbox One and PS4 at the moment. However, there are allegedly purported issues with the process.
Prior to the EA Play, "The Sims 4" has received a big update and downloadable content (DLC). The gender restrictions were removed and the "Dine Out" expansion pack was released.
EA and Maxis appear to be focused on expanding "The Sims 4" rather than bringing it over to the PS4 and the Xbox One. Boxofficebuz believes this course of action will be for the best.
The site thinks that "The Sims 4" as it is on personal computer (PC) already fails to capture even the most hardcore of "The Sims" fans, who the site says still prefers "The Sims 3."
However, "The Sims 4" PS4 and Xbox One can still be something to look forward to for PC players who think that takes too much space. Running it on its native platform will take so much power as well. The same amount can easily be achieved in the console.
If "The Sims 4" is headed to the Xbox One and PS4, reports suggest that it will arrive as early as this fall. It remains a mystery if this will still be the case after the game's no-show at the EA Play.
Its absence at the big gaming event, according to Neurogadget, hints that there are at least no big plans such as a PS4 and Xbox One switch in the pipeline for "The Sims 4."
If EA still plans a console version for the life simulation, fans won't hear about it until next year.
