"Wonder Woman" is one of the most anticipated superhero movies that will hit the theaters in 2017, as it will also expand on the universe of DC. The actress playing the iconic role, Gal Gadot, has shared her experience when she first tried on the costume of Wonder Woman.

"The very, very first time I tried the costume on was three days after I got cast. And they flew me to Michigan, and I got into this huge hangar. Huge, with tons of white walls covered with posters of me as Wonder Woman," Gadot shared when she attended the Rhode Island Comic-Con held on Nov. 11-13.

She continued saying, "I got into the room and I couldn't stop looking at the posters. And then, when they wanted me to try on the costume - because I was so excited that they cast me for the role - I couldn't say anything; I couldn't breathe, but I was like, 'that's okay. That's fine.'" The actress also mentioned that she loves the costumes very much and it matches the superhero very well.

There are reports saying that the heroine might possibly go against Ares, the God of War. There are also speculations that Ares is on a search for a deadly weapon, and the character may also be the main antagonist of the upcoming film.

Moreover, the supervillain has always caused trouble in the comics and Ares always had a knack for starting wars anywhere. There was also one time when he chose Darkseid as his ally which is one of the most dangerous enemies in the universe of DC. Rumors say the antagonist may appear in the "Justice League" film, but it is still yet to be confirmed.

"Wonder Woman" is slated to be released in theaters on June 2, 2017.
