Xbox Live Games with Gold October 2016 free games lineup: Four titles revealed, now available for download

It is October already, which means another set of games are going to be free again for download for Xbox gamers who subscribe to the Xbox Live Gold membership. As usual, there will be four new titles — two for Xbox 360 users and two for Xbox One players.
Every single game offered through Games with Gold is compatible with the Xbox One console because of the Backward Compatibility feature. For the month of October, reports say that Xbox Live Gold members who own the Xbox 360 can download off-road racing video game "MX vs ATV Reflex," which is developed by Rainbow Studios.
It's already available for free download but it will end on Oct. 15. It's noted that the game is actually priced at $19.99 so players who are into daredevil motorbike riding should take advantage of this free download. This game will allow players to race on motocross bikes or all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). There will be events like free ride, champion sport track and many more.
The other free game for Xbox 360 is the survival video game "I Am Alive." Set in a post-apocalyptic era, the game centers on a dystopian world with its dwellers already violent and agitated due to the low sources and supplies. The game normally retails for $29.99 but starting Oct. 16 until Oct. 31, the game will be free for all members.
As for the Xbox One gamers, they can enjoy free game "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings" for the whole month of October. This arcade baseball simulator is Polygon's 2014 Sports Game of the Year so players can expect a lot from this title. Its retail price is normally $19.99. Included in the game are different modes such as solo play, 2v1, 2v2 and teams against AI.
The other game available for free for Xbox One is the strategy role-playing video game "The Escapist." Developed by Mouldy Toof Studios, the game comes with a 16-bit graphic style, which means it focuses on the game objectives more than the visuals. It normally sells for $19.99 but from Oct. 16 to Nov. 15, it will be free of charge.
