For a while, console gamers have been bashed by PC gamers online for not being having 4K gaming resolution. Well, the PC "master race" may have to take back its words when the "Xbox One Scorpio" finds its way to the market. The device is said to be an upgrade of the Xbox One and it will allow users to achieve that sweet 4K gaming resolution.

According to USA Today, general manager of Microsoft Studios Publishing Shannon Loftis said: "Any games we're making that we're launching in the Scorpio time frame, we're making sure they can natively render at 4K."

That's good news for some console gamers as Microsoft previously had moments when they tried and failed to achieve 1080p resolution. With Scorpio, however, some are thankful that Microsoft has been able to overcompensate and focus on a performance-oriented platform.

Though PC gamers like to talk big, high-end PCs may still have trouble playing games with the resolution maxed out. The current product in the lead for GPUs is Nvidia's GTX 1080, and it's said to still have problems when playing games at 4K.  Brad Chacos of PC World had this to say about it: "[The $680 EVGA GTX 1080 FTW] still wasn't able to hit 60 fps with everything cranked to 11 at 4K resolution — but it came close."

As of now, the Xbox One Scorpio doesn't have a price tag yet but with the features that the company seems to brag about, consumers can expect the console to be quite pricey. The system is said to have 6 teraflops of performance, making the Xbox One Scorpio the most powerful console ever made.

The PlayStation 4 Pro is said to come out this November with a price tag of $400 but with those stats, the Xbox One Scorpio can be considered as 40 percent more powerful.

There is no official release date for the Xbox One Scorpio.
