Xbox Two release date rumors, news: Microsoft pushing for the development of Xbox One Slim?
Xbox Two has been one of the favorite subjects when it comes to rumors among video gamers. There are speculations suggesting that Microsoft is planning to release another console this year. Although this has yet to be confirmed by the American tech giant, many fans believe that the company will announce the development of the console at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3, which is going to happen in June this year.
The rumors started when a NeoGAF user "Ekim" spotted Microsoft filing two new projects at the Federal Communications Commission or FCC– 1682 and 1683.
According to reports, the latest projects appeared to have two different dates. The 1683 project is said to have a June 25 date while the 1682 project has the July 20 date. Gaming enthusiast observed that the dates are just days after the upcoming E3, which gave them the notion that Microsoft might announce the arrival of the highly anticipated console at the event.
Meanwhile, speculations about the console's features have already hit the rumor mill online. There are those suggesting that the device may come with a safety information card, along with a new wireless chip. However, there are fans and critics who are saying that the latest projects are going to be updated versions of the current Xbox One. Rumor has it that the company is planning to release an Xbox One slim version, which is pretty interesting itself once it is available for consumers.
In a report by Tech Radar, Xbox head, Phil Spencer, has already given a hint to fans that the company's main focus as of the moment is to develop a new generation of the current Xbox version, which basically debunked all rumors about Xbox Two.
Nonetheless, fans are still hopeful that Microsoft will decide to push with the Xbox Two project despite the disappointing statement from Spencer.
